I hear that our "Captain Fantastic" has not decided whether or not he is staying at Leeds next season. Certainly his actions when he was taken off on Sunday were somewhat strange. His form has also dipped of late and Steve Thompson has proved to be a better leader on the pitch when he has had the chance.
Wentzel also has a big say in team selection these days. This may account for the strange selections in the backs that we have had most of the season & why some players, who would be obvious alternatives seem to get overlooked on a regular basis.
Perhaps if Marco moved on we could spend his undoubtedly large salary on a number 10.
For me we need to keep him, yes he nay be on huge salary but if your senior player jumps ship so will others,and I dont want a 2006 all over again where we only had 7 senior players
